ABOUT LASHON

From Early Childhood Educator to Purpose-Driven Entrepreneur

LaShon Carter is a proud wife, devoted mother, and Chattanooga, TN native with a heart for education and entrepreneurship.

Her journey began in 2012 in early childhood education, where she worked closely with children and families for over six years—more than four of those years dedicated to nurturing infants.

Without formal preparation, LaShon was promoted into an assistant director role, a challenge that pushed her to pursue professional development on her own and grow into leadership with confidence.

Fueled by faith, family, and vision, LaShon and her family launched Tiny Tigers Family Daycare from their home. In 2017, that vision expanded into Tiny Tigers Learning Center, now nominated five times for Best Daycare in Chattanooga.

Today, LaShon serves on multiple education boards and continues to uplift early childhood development throughout her community—while helping others do the same.

This is definitely an interesting spin on investing - with the relationship component. I think a lot of married couples (as with my husband and I) aren't quite ready for bigger steps of investing immediately, but I can attest to the author's viewpoint that finances can essentially make or break a relationship. My husband and I have been up and down, at times teetering, in our relationship for nearly 20 years, mostly because of our fundamental differences with money... i applaud the writer's insight about this. There are obviously other ways to invest but this book, for what it is, is fantastic surrounding the topic of RE investing. Very interesting/textured book project to include lists/recommendations, personal anecdotes, quizzes, etc. Quality read. Recommend!

Mortgage before Marriage where 2 people come together because they WANT to and not because they need to! Relationships are not meant to be 2 people fusing into 1 person, it should be 2 individuals who make the choice to be together and build life together as 2 whole individuals.
